VA Responds To Covid-19 Crisis

Disability Law Group is dedicated to protecting the rights of veterans throughout Michigan, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. You should know that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) recently announced steps it is taking to help veterans navigate the pandemic.

“As all Americans come together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, we want Veterans to be focused on their health and safety,” said VA Secretary Robert Wilkie.

In particular, the  VA is providing financial relief to veterans with pending debts, claims and appeals. This includes suspending (1) all actions of veteran debts and (2) collection actions or extending repayment terms on pre-existing VA debt.

At Disability Law Group, we can assist with a variety of benefits and claims relief actions during the novel coronavirus crisis, from perfecting claims to challenging adverse actions to submitting notices, statements and appeals.

Finally, the VA is also expediting the claims and appeals for Veterans who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Although the VA is providing extensions for claims and accepting late-filed paperwork, the sooner you contact Disability Law Group, the sooner we can assist with your claim.
