Attorney Ryan Cowley brings his strong advocacy skills and passion for helping veterans to Disability Law Group where he specializes in Veterans Benefits. He received his Juris Doctor degree, graduating Cum Laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University with a concentration in economics, along with a legal-studies minor.
Before joining Disability Law Group, Mr. Cowley amassed nearly a decade of legal experience in civil litigation, consistently displaying dedication to achieving justice for his clients. During this time, he spent six years specializing in personal injury claims, gaining firsthand insight into the profound impact wrongfully denied benefits can have on individuals. Mr. Cowley gained invaluable experience on both the Defense and Plaintiff’s sides for automobile accident and injury victims, demonstrating a commitment to securing favorable outcomes for clients initially denied their rightful benefits.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Cowley’s driving force has been his unwavering commitment to justice and fierce passion advocating for those in need. Now, as an advocate for veterans at Disability Law Group, his dedication to justice is not merely a professional pursuit but a deeply personal commitment to serving those who have sacrificed for our country. Having the unique perspective of being the spouse of a United States Navy veteran, Mr. Cowley possesses a profound understanding of the distinctive challenges and sacrifices faced by service members and their families. This firsthand experience has fueled his deep commitment to ensuring that veterans receive the benefits and support entitled to them under the law.
Ryan helps his veteran clients throughout the appeals process. Mr. Cowley takes great care to understand each veteran’s unique circumstances, from their military history to how current disabilities affect their lives. He pursues every VA claim with integrity, determination and commitment to obtaining a positive outcome for his clients. Outside of work, Mr. Cowley enjoys hiking, volunteering for veterans charities, and spending time with family.
