Jon Heiden
Attorney

Jon Heiden is an experienced appellate attorney who has built his career fighting for veterans to obtain benefits denied by VA. He practices before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) and the Department of Veterans Affairs, bringing a depth of appellate experience that shapes how he approaches every case.

Jon has represented hundreds of veterans before the Veterans Court, developing the expertise that only comes from years of appellate work. He knows the patterns that VA and the Board of Veterans Appeals use to deny claims and applies that knowledge to build the strongest possible arguments.

He serves on the amicus committee for the National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA) and is an active member of the CAVC Bar Association. Jon is licensed to practice in the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Jon graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was a student advocate for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and an editor of the International Law Journal. He practices remotely from southeastern Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife and two boys.
