Troy, Michigan – [May 16, 2024] – Disability Law Group shatters records with an unprecedented turnout at the 6th Annual Free Legal Aid & Resource Fair, held on May 10th at the Troy Community Center.
The event not only saw a significant increase in attendance but also their largest vendor turnout to date, marking a significant milestone in Disability Law Group’s commitment to serving the community. The Fair provided invaluable support to individuals and families in need, offering an array of legal services and resources, including health screenings, community resources, haircuts, giveaways, and kids’ crafts.
Additionally, attendees were treated to complimentary cappuccinos and cannolis, adding a delightful touch to the event’s atmosphere. However, the generosity didn’t stop there; one lucky guest had the opportunity to win a week’s worth of food from LakePointe Food Pantry!
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors, The Arc of Oakland County and Disability Network Eastern Michigan, for their unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in making this event a success. Our gratitude also goes to VanBuskirk Dental for generously donating dental supplies for our hygiene kits, and to Salon Istifan and Susan’s Salon for providing haircuts to attendees. Their contributions exemplify the spirit of community collaboration and solidarity. Lastly we also express our sincerest thanks to all the businesses and attorneys who dedicated their time and expertise to make a positive impact at the Fair.
